The League of Women Voters annual workshop for those who may be considering a run for public office in the coming year and those supporting their campaigns. We are joined by both Democratic & Republican commissioners of Elections who will share the 2022 Political calendar and filing timelines/deadlines you need to know. Dr. KT Tobin from the SUNY New Paltz Benjamin Center for Public Policy will offer real-life advice for candidates in balancing priorities and staying inspired. Newly elected Orange County Legislator, Genesis Ramos and newly re-elected Ulster County comproller, March Gallagher, will share their field notes from their successful elections and take questions.
